Finding Your Perfect Fit

At Bliss on Brannon, we want you to find the perfect fit for your style. To ensure you get the right size, please refer to our size guide below.

1. Measure Yourself
Before selecting a size, take your measurements using a flexible measuring tape. Be sure to measure:

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

2. Check the Chart
Once you have your measurements, compare them to our size chart. Our chart provides the measurements for each size, allowing you to find the best match for your body.

3. Consider Your Fit Preference and Complements to your Body Type
Keep in mind that different styles may have slightly different fits. If you prefer a looser fit, you may want to size up. If you prefer a more fitted look, you may want to size down.

Selecting clothing that complements your body shape can enhance your overall appearance and boost your confidence. Here are some style tips tailored to different female body shapes:

Hourglass Shape: If you have an hourglass figure with balanced proportions, embrace fitted styles that accentuate your waist, such as tailored jackets, wrap dresses, and high-waisted skirts or trousers. Opt for v-neck tops and dresses to highlight your décolletage.

Pear Shape: For pear-shaped figures, where the hips are wider than the shoulders, focus on balancing the proportions by drawing attention to the upper body. Choose tops with embellishments, boat necklines, or off-the-shoulder styles to broaden the shoulders. A-line skirts and dresses that flare out from the waist can help to create a more balanced silhouette.

Apple Shape: If you have an apple-shaped body with a fuller midsection and slimmer legs, aim to elongate the torso and draw attention away from the midsection. Empire waist tops and dresses can create a flattering silhouette. Look for structured jackets and tops that graze over the stomach area without clinging. Straight-leg or bootcut trousers and skirts with a slight A-line can help to streamline the lower body.

Rectangle Shape: For those with a rectangular body shape, where the bust, waist, and hips are similar in width, focus on creating curves and definition. Choose tops with ruffles, layers, or embellishments to add volume to the bust and hips. Belted dresses and tops can help to define the waistline. Opt for skirts and trousers with details such as pleats or flared hems to add shape to the lower body.

Inverted Triangle Shape: If you have broad shoulders and a narrower waist and hips, aim to soften the upper body and add volume to the lower body. Choose tops with scoop or v-necklines to draw attention away from the shoulders. A-line skirts and dresses can help to create balance by adding volume to the hips. Consider wearing darker colors or patterns on top and lighter colors or solid bottoms to create the illusion of a more balanced silhouette.

Remember, these are just guidelines, and personal style preferences should always be taken into account. Experiment with different styles and silhouettes to find what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Additionally, tailoring can be a valuable tool to ensure that clothing fits you perfectly and flatters your unique body shape.
